Linda Forsythe's Ramen Noodle Salad (serve hot or cold)

1 head of very curly cabbage, cut thinly into small pieces
1 bunch of scallions, chopped
2 Ramen noodle packages broken up

Brown in butter 2 or 3 Tbs sesame seeds
1 package of slivered almonds

Mix together and bring to a boil:
2 T soy sauce
¾ C vegetable oil
¼ C cider vinegar
½ C sugar
