Peach - A - Berry - Cobbler (Serves 6)

Ingredients
1 tablespoon cornstarch
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup water
2 cups sliced peaches
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon nutmeg

For Crust
1 cup sifted flour
½ cup granulated sugar
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Add all at once:
½ cup milk
¼ cup soft butter
Beat smooth.

How To Cook
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a sauce pan, mix cornstarch and brown sugar in and slowly stir in the water.
3. Add the sliced peaches and blueberries together.
4. Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
5. Add the butter and the lemon juice to the mixture.
6. Pour into 8 ½" x 1 ¾ " round ovenware cake dish.
7. Spoon crust over fruit mixture.
8. Sprinkle over the top of the batter sugar and nutmeg.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
10. Serve warm with ice cream!
