Martha's Muffins or Coffee Cake (1 dozen muffins)
Martha Waller (Forsythe) discovered this recipe, and Mike, Kay, Kip and Erik first had this when visiting New Rochelle in 1976!

Ingredients
1 ½ cup flour
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup shortening or oil
1 beaten egg
½ cup milk
1 cup blueberries
Topping: ½ cup sugar, ½ cup flour, 2 teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ cup butter

How To Cook
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl except for the topping.
3. Spoon ½ of the batter into greased muffin cups or 8 ½" square pan.
4. Sprinkle ½ of topping onto batter.
5. Spoon on the other half of the batter.
6. Sprinkle on the other half of the topping.
7. For muffins, bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, and 30 minutes for coffee cake.
