Herb Bread

Ingredients
1 large loaf uncut white bread with all crusts removed except the bottom

Cream together:
½ lb. Butter
½ teaspoon savory
½ teaspoon thyme
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika
dash of cayenne

How To Cook
1. Cut loaf diagonally 1 ½ " thick but not quite through and butter using the mixture.
2. Then cut the other way and butter.
3. Spread butter on the top.
