Ingredients Sift together 2 cups flour 2 teaspoon cinnamon 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 ½ teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon salt Cream together 1 ¼ cup Crisco or vegetable oil 2 cups sugar 4 eggs Combine 1 cup drained crushed pineapple 2 cups of finely shredded carrots ½ cup chopped pecans - optional How To Cook 1. Add flour mixture alternately with carrot mixture. 2. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 3. For icing, cream together 1 square softened butter/margarine and 4 to 6 oz. creamed cheese. Mix in about 1 pound of powdered sugar. |
